In January of 2012 Cathel Color Company was launched with the intent to offer a new and varied approach to color-correction. Seizing the moment in which the technology for color-correction shifted, giving us an opportunity to offer a state of the art color-correction suite any where it is needed. Whether you choose to have us on-set, in your space or in the comforts of our own facility, is up to you.
With two state of the art suites, both using top-of-the-line DaVinci Resolve systems. Capable of any kind of image manipulation and refinement desired, the systems are a power horse bringing your creative vision to life.
DaVinci Resolve is compatible with CinemaDNG RAW, ARRI Alexa™ RAW and Amira™. REDOne™, EPIC™, Scarlet™ and Dragon™ R3D files including +5K, monochrome and HDRx images. Also supported are Cineform™, Cineform™ 3D, Phantom Raw™, GoPro™, Nikon™, Canon™C300, C500 and 1D, 5D, 7D and the raw cameras from Sony™ F65/F55/F5 RAW and their XAVC variants and many, many more!
Cathel Color Company remote service offers the ability to a State of the Art Color Suite at your offices, on-set, in a cabin in northern Michigan or anywhere else you may need us. A power packed color system offering the same performance you will find in high end post facilities.
